Fit HELP logo - Fitness, Healthy Eating, and lifestyle program

Fit HELP (Fitness, Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Program) is a medically supervised program designed to provide integrated fitness, nutrition, education and psychological services to students.  Our staff works with students to address concerns such as weight management, sedentary lifestyles, stress management, poor self-image and eating disorders.
 
Fit HELP staff includes an Exercise Physiologist, Health Educator, Registered Dietician, Health Psychologist, and student interns.

Student Health Services offers Fit HELP to enrolled students at no cost.  This program is funded through your mandatory health fee.

Fit HELP offers walk-in visits for initial assessments and appointments as needed.  Appointments can be made at the Student Health Connection or the main Student Health Center.  For more information regarding appointments call (916) 278-9355.

  • Initial assessments to determine which Fit HELP services best fit your needs
  • Education in areas of nutrition, fitness, disordered eating, body image, and general health
  • Support in attaining goals developed with other members of the Fit HELP team
  • Outreach and Education to academic programs and student groups across campus
  • Peer Health Educator and Internship positions for students
