Health Insurance

Health insurance plans (e.g. major medical and dental) are offered through Associated Students, Inc.
Just Click on the ASI website below and they are listed under Services.

Brochures and applications for Domestic and International Student Health Insurance plans for Spring 2009 are available at the Student Services counter, located on the third floor of the University Union. International students are required by the University to have major medical health insurance coverage. International coverage begins 8/15/2008 and expires 08/15/2009 for the Fall 2008/Spring 2009 plan. You can also register online at www.csuhealthlink.com. For more information please call 278-7916.

Deadline for enrolling for the domestic student health insurance is 10/15/2008 for the Fall 2008 and 3/14/2009 for the Spring 2009 plans. Coverage begins 8/15/2008 and expires 8/15/2009. To be eligible you must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 units or an enrolled graduate student.

Major illnesses and injuries, as well as conditions requiring hospitalization, are beyond the scope of the Health Center. Any outside health services received by a student are their financial responsibility.
