CRJ 195: Criminal Justice Internship
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I sign up for CRJ 195?
Students must apply for the course prior to the semester for which they intend to enroll. The application period will be announced on the main page of the site. A limited number of paper applications are available at that time; there are no online applications.
What are the prerequisites for CRJ 195?
Students are required to be CRJ majors, have senior status (90 units) and have completed the upper-division required major classes (CRJ 101, 102, 121, 123, 130, 141, 160) by the time their internships begin. Students may have coursework in progress at the time of application.
Completion of the WPJ/GWAR is highly recommended, as there is a great deal of writing required by the course.
I have just decided that I would like to enroll in CRJ 195, but the application period has passed. Can I still enroll?
No; when the application period has passed, no further applications are accepted.
I work at a criminal justice agency. Can I get credit for the work I've been doing there?
Only students who have applied and been accepted as interns for CRJ 195 can receive credit for the course.
