Athletic Training - Retention Policy
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.800 (in CSUS overall and each semester) in twelve graded units toward the degree and making steady progress in the degree
- Positive evaluations and recommendation (to advance to the next phase or repeat and be placed on probation) from clinical instructor each semester
- Must be in the top scored, qualified group to be placed in the limited number of clinical positions, based on recommendations and application
- Completion of previous semester’s fieldwork
- Continuation of meeting prerequisites (i.e. CPR, FA, AED current certification)
