Intermittent Problems with My Sac State

Sacramento State users are reporting problems accessing the Student Center, Faculty Center and CMS HR/SA applications.  This problem appears to be intermittent.  The issue has been escalated to the CSU Chancellor's Office.  If you are unable to access the system, you may want to consider using a different browser as an attempt at a workaround.  Otherwise, please try again later.

Campus Wireless Access

Wireless access is unavailable throughout the campus.  Our network support team is working to fix this issue.

SacCT Intermittent Availability

System restore time: Monday, October 13th, 2014, 7:00 PM

October 13, 2014 - SacCT has been restored to service. We implemented a fix that stabilized the system, and we have not seen a reoccurrence of the problems. If you experience any issues, please contact the IRT Service Desk at servicedesk@csus.edu or call 916.278.7337.

Student Center Slowdown Fixed

The Student Center experienced a slowdown.  The process causing the slowdown was stopped, and the Student Center is running normally.  If you experience further problems, please contact the Service Desk at 278-7337.

The SacCT working normally

A problem with a new piece of software within SacCT (Blackboard) caused outages yesterday in several CSU’s, including Sacramento State.  Students and Faculty using Blackboard were impacted several times during the day and evening.  The problem has now been fixed, and we do not expect further outages.

The specific problem was a Blackboard building block (Plugin) that uses a Blackboard cloud service.  The building block has been disabled until Blackboard has fixed the problem.

All users of SacCT were impacted from 4:30 to 9:30 PM.
