Summer Research

Vicki Hall visited London, Athens, Santorini, Herakleon, Festos, Mallia, Vienna, Graz and Feldbach to do research for Women's Studies 145, Feminism and the Spirit and Women's Studies 146, Women in Art.

   
WELCOME NEW FACULTY!
Sujatha Sujatha Moni began teaching in the department last semester when she taught a section of Women in the Middle East. This semester she is teaching both sections of Introduction to Women's Studies. Ms. Moni received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University, New Jersey in January 2006. Her dissertation focuses on the performance of desire and alterity in postcolonial drama. Her areas of research include: drama in South Asia; postcolonial studies; performance theory; women’s and gender studies; and psychoanalysis. She serves on the Advisory Board of My Sister’s House – a Sacramento based non-profit organization providing counseling services and shelter for victims of domestic violence, particularly from the Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
