in gaining redress and reparations for

during World War II.

Welcome to the Asian American Studies
program at California State University, Sacramento! We are a
dynamic and growing academic program that is meeting the needs
of a dynamic and growing community. According to the 2000 Census,
Sacramento is now the city with the 10th largest Asian American
and Pacific Islander population in the United States. The program's
dedicated faculty is nationally recognized for their teaching
skills, scholarly activities, and community service.
