Wayne Maeda Asian American Studies Archives

Professor Wayne Maeda
taught for more than four decades at Sacramento State University and was one of California's foremost scholars of Japanese American history. He was a founding member of the Ethnic Studies Center and the Asian American Studies Program. The Wayne Maeda Asian American Studies Archives was created to honor his memory and legacy. The Archives is intended for the use of future generations of scholars who are conducting research on Asian Americans.

Currently our archival collection is comprised of the Hmong American Archives, the Wayne Maeda Archives which focuses on Japanese Americans and the K.W. Lee Archives which focuses on Korean Americans.
