Qualifications:

• Full-time student at time of award.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Willingness to meet with an Asian American Studies advisor and a community mentor during the academic year of the scholarship.
• Preference given to students who have already taken at least one course in Asian American Studies and/or plan to enroll in at least one Asian American Studies course during the academic year of the scholarship.

Funding for this scholarship was made by the generous contributions from the Asian Pacific Rim Foundation, Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce, Asian Peace Officer’s Association (APOA), Philippine National Day Association (PNDA), CSUS Student Academic Enrichment Fund, the Nakatani Family Endowment, and individual donors.
