Campus Master Planning - Join the Conversation

Master Planning Sketch

The Master Plan Task Force, which includes key campus representatives along with community and local industry partners, invites you to a series of forums to help guide the long-range Master Plan for Sacramento State. The Task Force wants to know what students, faculty, staff, and the Sacramento community envision for the future of the University’s physical campus.

Forums begin on September 17, with a presentation of current campus conditions, after which participants will be asked for input and ideas. The first sessions will gather input and ideas, which will inform development of a series of alternative Master Plan concepts for discussion at the second set of forums in late October.

The Master Plan is a comprehensive design that will inform development of the physical campus over the next 20 years. It will encompass siting of new facilities (classroom buildings, residence halls, recreational and event facilities) recreational fields and open space. It will also address landscaping, campus traffic circulation (for vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles), parking structures and transit facilities, as well as long-term expectations for infrastructure and sustainability. For more information about the upcoming schedule, master plan FAQs, and links to presentations, visit the new Master Planning page.

Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in shaping Sac State’s physical campus to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
