Margaret Wong
Please join us as we welcome Margaret Wong for the next installation of our ABA Speaker Series. Margaret will be out third speaker in the last 16 months. She comes to us sharing her experience in international business relationships between the United States and China.

Known as the "Business Empress" by the Sacramento Bee, Margaret Wong based her success in linking multi-million dollar businesses between California and  China. A Hong Kong native, she received a B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Hong Kong.

Immigrating to the United States in 1974, Margaret Wong served as the Corporate Controller for Boston Management Corporation in Chicago for 10 years before moving to Sacramento. In 1984 she started her own business, and has served as Sacramento’s “unofficial ambassador” to China in her quest to promote a better business cultural understanding between the U.S. and China.

Margaret has been widely recognized in the industry for her strong business and government connections in China and inside knowledge of the "ways and means" of doing business in China.

Margaret is a recipient of the 2012 Presidential "E" award for Excellence in Exporting as well as the Inc. Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award, amongst many other notable awards and recognitions.
