Sacramento State hosts a variety of events, and visitors are always welcome. Parking regulations and enforcement apply to all visitors, along with faculty, staff and students. If you are bringing your vehicle to the campus, a parking permit is required, timed parking places, parking spots for short periods of time, are available in some locations.
Parking permits are required to park on campus, except in designated timed spaces. Parking permits are available from one of the daily permit machines, the Visitor Information booths, or the UTAPS Office. Permit machines are located in student lots 1, 7, 8, 9, 5th floor of Parking Structure I, 3rd floor of Parking Structure II and the 3rd floor of Parking Structure III. Parking permit fees are $6 per day, or $3 for two hours. Our Parking Map also shows the locations of each permit machine.
Visitor Information Booths
The Visitor Information Booths are located in two locations. One, near the main entrance of the campus on Esplanade, while the second is located near the southern end of the campus, on State University Drive, South, near Highway 50. These informations booths are available to answer questions about navigating the campus, building locations, parking regulations, and other general information.
