Sac State Supports Run to Feed the Hungry
On Thanksgiving, participants of the 2014 Run to Feed the Hungry campaign were greeted with signs welcoming them to Sacramento State near the main entrance along J Street and State University Drive. Participants gathered near the signs, and main entrance of the campus, as they prepared for their 5k or 10k walk/run through East Sacramento.
This was made possible thanks to the efforts from ABA's Reprographics team and others who produced 3 foot by 23 foot banners, printed with their recently acquired HP L360 64” wide format latex printer. This new printer allows Reprographics to better serve the large scale printing needs of the campus after having received numerous requests for outdoor banners, lawn signs and retractable displays. Reprographics was happy to provide a banner to the Run to Feed the Hungry campaign, one that attracts thousands of participants in the local community.
The run took place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27, 2014, in support of Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. The banners that greeted participants were a true University collaboration. Public Affairs designed the banners, Reprographics and Mail Services produced them and Facilities Management installed the hardware and then hung them for display.
In addition to supporting events such as Run to Feed the Hungry, Reprographics, and their new printers, have also provided similar promotional material to Sac World Fest, OneBook and Book Bin Promotions, multiple intercollegiate athletics promotional needs, and a conference for CSU Facilities Management Conference.
"Reprographics and Mail Services is happy to assist any University department with internal or external projects based on the mandate given to us which includes supporting the goals and objectives of the University, it’s strategic plan and for the benefit of the students, faculty, and staff," said Michael Kalstein, director of Reprographics & Mail Services.
