Welcome to Sacramento State 's Budget Planning and Administration website. We are proud to be a part of the Administration and Business Affairs (ABA) division. We are dedicated to supporting the university's strategic plan, Destination 2010 initiative, as well as the mission and vision of ABA.
Budget Planning and Administration provides a wide variety of services to our customers. The following is a brief listing of some of the services and information that we provide:
- Facilitating the Operating Fund budget planning and development process and providing transparency by:
- Supporting UBAC and providing them with financial information
- Working with UBAC to provide the Annual Budget Call recommendations to the President
- Working with UBAC to produce the Annual Report for Budget, Expenditures, and Financial Information
- Processing Campus Fees (Category IV and V) for Presidential Review
- Providing financial information and guidance on the various university funds (e.g. Operating Fund, Lottery, Self Support Funds, etc.)
- Preparing and reviewing financial pro formas for capital projects
- Working as campus liaison with the financial divisions of the Chancellor's Office
- Processing budget transfers
- Processing the monthly payroll in the Labor Cost Distribution module of the Common Management System (CMS)
- Managing and creating positions for university employees
