Concurrent
with her appointment, Gina continued to serve as the University Bursar &
Director of the Student Financial Services Center, splitting her time
between the two offices.
The ASI Finance &
Administration Director has responsibility for the ASI administration and
business office functions, including budget, information technology, human
resources, internal controls, procurement, cashiering, accounting and
payroll. The position also provides leadership and budgetary oversight for
all ASI programs. These include the Aquatic Center, the Children’s Center,
Community Services, Government and Leadership, Governmental Affairs, Green
Sting, KSSU Radio, Peak Adventures, Safe
Rides, and Student Life & Services.
With regard to
her ASI appointment, Curry had this to say: “It provided an opportunity to
evaluate and enhance the operations from a campus perspective. And, the
experience enhanced my understanding of ASI’s relationship to the
University.”
