Administrative Services supports the managers and staff of Facilities Services by coordinating and managing its business operations. Our responsibilities include budget preparation and oversight; purchasing and processing payments for all facility maintenance, renovation and construction; tracking payroll and personnel records for about 200 employees; maintaining the department’s computer network, website, and maintenance management software; and providing administrative support to the Associate Vice President, the directors and the managers of Facilities Management. While our responsibilities are varied, we work as a team toward the common goal to provide efficient, accurate, and professional services and to facilitate and support the department’s core activities and goals.

The associate vice president is the University’s key officer responsible for Facilities Management, a diverse organization with close to 200 employees in four functional units, including:

  • Planning, Design & Construction
  • Sustainability & Plant Operations (incuding Housing Facilities)
  • Facility Operations
  • Administrative Services
