WACUBO* 2007 Workshop Site Coordinator

In
2007, Kem Gravenberg (left) was appointed by WACUBO to
serve as a workshop site coordinator for the Sacramento
area, assuming responsibility for organizing WACUBO’s
Strategic Budgeting Workshop held December 3 and 4, 2007
at the city’s Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza.
Candace Ensley (right) provided staff assistance for the
December workshop. |
WACUBO relies
on volunteer coordinators to identify and negotiate contracts for
local workshop facilities, develop marketing mailers, register
participants, coordinate workshop logistics with speakers, summarize
evaluations and prepare a post-workshop report. Candace Kehoe-Ensley
provided staff assistance for the December workshop, designing the
brochure and certificates of completion, as well as preparing
binders and registration packets. Candace manned the workshop
registration table for both days while Annette Karle provided
assistance at the registration table on day one. Kem will continue
to serve as site coordinator for future workshops.
