Getting a OneCard
PROCESS FOR STUDENTS
Any student who is registered for at least one class or attending new student orientation is eligible to receive a Sac State OneCard. Once registered, come to the OneCard Services window in the Student Financial Services Center Cashier's Office in Lassen Hall to complete an application. You will need to:
- Know your Sac State Student ID number (not your Social Security Number).
- Present a valid photo id (driver license, passport or state id card).
- Provide the $15.00 first card fee (cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card).
PROCESS FOR FACULTY/STAFF
All Faculty and Staff must have an appointment letter or contract to be eligible to receive a Sac State OneCard. There is no out of pocket expense for your card (with the exception of some of the auxiliaries). To receive your OneCard come to the OneCard Services window in the Student Financial Services Center Cashier's Office in Lassen Hall to complete an application. You will need to:
- Present your Sac State appointment letter or contract.
- Know your Sac State Employee ID number (provided by your department or Human Resources).
- Present a valid photo id (driver license, passport or state id card).
TAKING YOUR PHOTO
As soon as your paperwork is verified it only takes a few minutes for your information to be entered into the system. Then you will need to have your picture taken. (Note: You cannot wear and hats or sunglasses for your photo.) Your card will be printed out right away and you can immediately begin enjoying all the services and benefits.
ONECARD REPLACEMENTS
Returning Student Card
Accounts are closed when cardholder ceases to be a student or employee of Sac State (see OneCard Policy). Because of this, students who leave the university and are not enrolled for more than one semester may be required to pay the new card fee of $15.00.
Lost or Damaged Card
$15.00 - This includes lost cards, or damaged cards due to wear or incident.
Defective Card
No Charge - This includes cards that are not damaged but do not read correctly in campus card readers. Testing of the card is required to avoid the Damaged Card charge.
Name Change
$15.00 - This includes name changes due to marriage or divorce.
Change of Status Card
No Charge - This only pertains to continuously enrolled students who's status has changed from Undergraduate to Graduate Student.
All cards are issued from OneCard Services during regular business hours:
Fall 2011:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Winter Intersession 2011:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Spring 2012:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summer 2012:
Monday - Friday
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
OneCard Servies will be closed:
*November 11, 2011: Veterans Day
*November 24, 2011: Thanksgiving Day
*December 26, 2011 - Jan 2, 2012: Winter Holiday

Report a Lost or Stolen Card
Report lost or stolen cards immediately to OneCard Services by phone at 1-916-278-7878 or e-mail at onecard@csus.edu.
If your OneCard is linked to a Wells Fargo account please also contact them at 1-800-869-3557 to report your card lost or stolen.
