Freddy Orozco, Assistant Director of University Transportation & Parking Services, was awarded an Oscar by the Sacramento Transportation Management Association (TMA) in 2005. |
The Sacramento TMA, founded in 1989, is an independent, non-profit membership association, representing 162 employers concerned about the negative impact of Sacramento’s traffic congestion and air pollution and their employees’ commutes and quality of life. The TMA helps more than 87,153 local commuters find alternatives to driving alone to work. The Oscar recognizes Orozco’s meritorious efforts to promote alternate forms of transportation on the Sac State campus through the University’s Commute Choices Campaign.
