The University Police Department provides a number of services to the campus community, to include the following:
- 24-hour patrol of the university campus and surrounding area.
- 24-hour public safety dispatch center
- Special event security
- Crowd and traffic control
- Fingerprinting for various licensing and certification programs
- Bike licensing
- Alarm monitoring and response.
- Lost and found property management.
- Workplace violence prevention and response
