CSU Quality Improvement Program Planning Committee

Sarah Whyte

In March 2008, Sarah Whyte, Director of Strategic Planning & Quality Improvement, was appointed chair of the California State University (CSU) Quality Improvement (QI) Program Planning Committee, charged with setting the direction for the QI Program across the system.

 

The committee works closely with the QI Steering Committee composed of CSU presidents, vice presidents and provosts, to develop programs and tools in support of continuous quality and productivity improvement efforts on campuses, through:

  • Systematic identification and transfer of best practices
  • Quality enhancement strategies and frameworks
  • Assessment of customer needs and satisfaction
  • Process and performance measurement and evaluation
  • Identification and adoption of best practices
  • Campus and/or system-wide collaboration

Sarah has served as a member of the QI Planning Committee and various subcommittees for over ten years. The Planning Committee chair serves a three-year term.
