What is your favorite place on campus?
The ARC simply because I spend so much time in there whether it’s studying, chatting with friends, checking out a laptop or printing something. It’s such a resourceful building.

What advice would you give to first year students?
Get involved, and get involved early. I was extremely introverted my first two years at Sac State and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t enjoying college as much as I had hoped. Once I stepped outside of my comfort zone and found on campus jobs and founded a sorority on campus I really felt like I was not only impacting the Sac State community, but it was impacting my life as well.

What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the second floor of the library.  I study best at a quiet table in the back of the library and have grown to enjoy my comfortable “study spot.”

What advice would you give to first year students?
Go to your teacher’s office hours!  In classes of 100+ students, professors do not have time to learn or care for each student.  Going to office hours will help you build a relationship with your professor, receive help on assignments and tests, and will show that you care.
