Freshman Orientation Schedule

Freshman Orientation is a one-day session in August.

SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST FRESHMAN ORIENTATION SESSIONS

8:00am - 8:30am Check-in
8:30am - 9:00am Welcome
9:00am - 10:45am Academic Requirements
10:45am - 11:30am Campus Tour
11:30am - 12:00pm Workshops*
12:00pm - 12:30pm Workshops*
12:30pm - 1:20pm Lunch*
1:30pm - 3:00pm Major Advising *
3:00pm - 3:30pm Registration Workshop
3:30pm - 4:00pm Final Questions
   

SCHEDULE FOR LATE AUGUST FRESHMAN ORIENTATION SESSIONS

Students who cannot attend Orientation during August 12-14 will need to attend a Mini Orientation session. These sessions will be offered the week of August 18th. Mini Orientation sessions are 90 minutes long and will be at 10am and 1pm daily and cost $25. Students MUST pre-register for these sessions by calling the New Student Orientation office at (916) 278-7841.
