Transfer Orientation Confirmation Page

Once we receive and process your reservation, you will be receive a confirmation letter and parking permit. Keep an eye out for a green envelope. In the event you did not receive a confirmation, here are the important details:

Please be advised that construction will take place on I-5 between the Sacramento International Airport and downtown in early June. This will effect any student traveling to Sac State from I-5 to I-50. For details, visit Cal Trans.

Parking Structure II is where you will park your car. From the parking lot, you will need to walk to the University Union and check in for Orientation in the Lobby Suite. Click here for directions to Sacramento State University.

Check-In for Orientation will begin promptly at 8:00am in the University Union. When you check in, please proceed to the HELP TABLE so we can check you in and give you a parking permit for your car. It is important that you fill out the date and your license plate number on the permit for it to be valid.

You Will Need to Bring unofficial copies of all your college transcripts. We will need these to assist you during your General Education and major advising sessions. We will not have access to transcripts you submitted to Admissions & Records. If possible, we recommend you bring a copy of the catalog from the college/university you are transferring from.

Additional Expenses not included in your Orientation fee include: $9.00 to purchase your student ID card and $12.00 to purchase the 2008-2010 Sacramento State Catalog.
