Orientation Leaders
New Student Orientation at Sac State occurs twice each year: June/July/August for students entering the fall semester and November/December for students entering the spring semester. New Student Orientation is required for all new students and is your academic advising and registration for classes.
During Orientation, we will help you prepare for your first semester at Sac State. You’ll meet fellow students, meet with faculty from your major and register for classes. You will also participate in workshops, learn about extracurricular programs, and hear what students, faculty, and staff have to say about your opportunities as a Sac State student and future alum. Attending New Student Orientation is your first step in ensuring success at Sac State.
