Sacramento State's Freshman Programs are designed to provide challenging and rewarding academic experiences for first-time college students. Our supportive educational environments encourage academic success and a smooth transition to college. The following four programs offer learning opportunities both in and out of the classroom: Freshman Seminar, University Learning Communities, Educational Opportunity Program, and Freshman Advising.
