COURSE CHANGES

BIO 297A Teaching Biology Seminar. Training for graduate students who wish to participate in the Department's Graduate Teaching Associate (GTA) Program and others interested in teaching biology. Weekly seminar session covering aspects of teaching biology laboratories. Lecture/discussion. Not applicable toward 18 unit 200-level coursework requirement. Graded Credit/No Credit. 1 unit.
Prerequisite:
Acceptance in the GTA Program or instructor permission.
Justification: The University now requires 18 units of 200-level coursework while our course description referred to the old University requirement of 15 units of 200-level coursework. The change we propose simply updates our course description to reflect this change in requirements.
