Department of Physical Therapy

SUBSTANTIVE CHANGE

Master's in Physical Therapy.
Justification: In response to the national effort to standardize the entrance requirements for students applying to physical therapy programs across the country launched by the American Physical Therapy Association, the Department of Physical Therapy made changes in the prerequisite requirements for entry into the Master's curriculum. We now are requesting 3 additional units of course work in the curriculum to increase the program total to 63 units to adjust for these changes.
     
  PROPOSED CHANGES:  
   
1. Increase the number of units for PT 200  
2. Increase the number of units for PT 262
