NON-SUBSTANTIVE CHANGE Graduate Program, Communication Studies See Attached.
This proposal is offered as a means to enhance the pedagogical rigor of the Communications Graduate Program by creating diversity and flexibility within course offerings and to assist us in maintaining a coherent cohort of students.

Geography |
NEW PROGRAM Geographic Information Systems Minor Justification: The Geography Department is proposing a new Geographical Information Systems Minor. It would require the same total number of units (18) as our existing Geography Minor, but is aimed at those students who want to focus more strictly on GIS and related spatial techniques rather than on the broader discipline of Geography.

SUBSTANTIVE CHANGES Justification: Proposed changes to B.A. Geology program are consistent with the proposed changes in the B.S. Geology degree. The content B.A. under the proposed changes is similar to the current program with the following exceptions:
