Wang, Jing
Director of Institutional Research
Dr. Jing Wang holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from State University of New York at Albany. Her masters and bachelors degrees are from Beijing Normal University in China. Dr. Wang is proficient in various areas of institutional research, such as data management, online reporting, online survey design, survey administration, and assessment. In her 10-year engagement and management in the field of institutional research, Dr. Wang has completed several projects in support of university decision making and planning. These projects include the development of institutional data warehouses and dashboards, student retention studies, enrollment projection, projective models for admission, and assessments of first-year seminars outcomes.
Dr. Wang previously served as Director of Institutional Research at Mansfield University, Pennsylvania and Assistant Director of Institutional Research at Smith College.
