Communications Plan

This project is based on the assumption that it will be successful. One of the reasons is the strong commitment to collaboration and problem solving, both campuswide and systemwide. Added to this is also a training component for faculty and professional staff.

The overall goals for project communications are to clarify the expectations, objectives, implementation efforts, progress, and deployment plans for ATI and to ensure that the steering team is receiving adequate feedback from the University community in return.

A communications plan will take into account the various audiences, method, and frequency. Below are examples of typical communiqués:

  • Send awareness email from the President to all students, faculty, and staff introducing EO-926 and his continued commitment to ATI program.
  • Send email messages to all Deans and Department Chairs from the Provost reminding their faculty and staff that accessibility requirements must be met when designing or re-creating content, including instructional materials used for WebCT type courses
  • Announce in the Bulletin that information and training will be provided
