Faculty Senate Agenda

The Liberal Studies Program Review Team recommends the conditional approval of the Liberal Studies Program for a period of three years. We recommend that no later than March 15, 2004, the Liberal Studies Program Director, in consultation with the Dean of Social Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies present to the Program Review Subcommittee of the Academic Senate Curriculum Committee a report that:

1. Details the progress toward completing the more pressing recommendations contained in this report (specifically, recommendations 2-4, 6-8, 10-12, 17, 18, 21-25, 27, 30, 32),
   
2. Identifies problems impeding the implementation of any of the recommendations listed above, and
   
3. Presents plans for addressing - prior to the next program review - those recommendations listed above that have not been fully implemented.

Upon review of the report as specified above, the Program Review Subcommittee shall recommend to the Senate approval for the remainder of the six year review cycle or such shorter period as circumstances dictate.
