FS 02-75/Ex. UNIVERSITY ARTP DOCUMENT, AMEND SECTIONS 6.04.B.1, 6.04.C.2 AND 6.06.B.1

Background:  In April 2002, the Faculty Senate passed FS 02-21, which amended the University ARTP document, allowing probationary faculty members the right to decline without prejudice to serve on hiring committees.  The President, in a memo to the Faculty Senate of September 4, 2002, asked that the Senate reconsider this language.  The matter was referred to the University ARTP Committee for debate and consideration.  William Dillon, Presiding Member, reported the University ARTP Committee's findings in his memo of October 17, 2002 (Attachment C).  [This item is in Adobe (.pdf) format.  You must have version 5.0 to successfully access these files.  Go to: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/alternate.html to download the latest version.]
