Subj: Amendments to the UARTP document to incorporate recently approved changes to the M.O.U. pertinent to UARTP

The summer sub-committee of the UARTP Committee, acting by telephone poll, recommends approval of the attached editorial changes to the UARTP document. These changes are purely editorial and involve no more than incorporating new contract language into the campus document and deleting superceded contract language from it.

On August 15, Faculty Affairs hopes to print a UARTP document containing every change made by the Senate during the past two years. Therefore, that office hopes that the Executive Committee will act for the Senate to adopt these recommended editorial changes and refer them to the Senate as an information item.

The Sub-Committee requests that your correspondent be invited to the meeting at which these amendments will be considered.
