The agenda was amended to add, as a first reading item, FS 06-80, Resolution to Refer FS 05-69/Ex. (UARTP DOCUMENT - AMEND SECTION 6.06.D) to a Referendum of the Faculty. The agenda was approved as amended (hand count: 18 ayes; 17 nays).

The Faculty Senate refers FS 05-77/APC/Ex., Timely Declaration of Major back to the Academic Policies Committee.

The Senate adjourned at 3:50 due to the presentation of the Faculty Senate Scholars. The following items will receive a first reading at the March 2, 2006 Senate meeting:
