Candidate for office of Chair of the Graduate Studies Policies Committee, effective Spring 2009:    Christine Miller (Graduate Studies Policies Committee recommendation)

Carried unanimously.

The Senate conducted a continued first reading of FS 08-72/FPC/Ex. “Outstanding Faculty Awards, Revision of”. A motion to suspend the matter to allow senators to consult with their departments/colleges was approved.
