3.08.16 Election Committee

The Election Committee consists of the Vice Chair of the Faculty Senate, who serves as Chair, and five faculty members nominated by the Executive Committee.
- Charge
Shall initiate recommendations to the Faculty Senate relative to the conduct of the elections and the interpretation of election procedures and results; shall develop efficient election control procedures in cooperation with the electing units; shall monitor the tallying of ballots and certify the results; shall make recommendations to the Faculty Senate on voting eligibility as defined in the CSUS Faculty Constitution and Bylaws or in case of contested elections. In elections when procedures are not specified in existing charters, the authorization to proceed will be obtained from the Faculty Senate.
