| Venues for Teaching and Learning |
|
The theme of this page marks the changes that are taking place in the educational world. The venue of teaching and learning has, by tradition, been the familiar classroom. The economics of education, as well as developing technology, has fostered a variety of alternative venues; e.g., where teaching and learning meet. The California State University has committed to the visions and goals set forth in CORNERSTONES which, in part, embrace the development of and application of alternatives to the traditional venue. Your Faculty Senate, as a service to the faculty of California State University, Sacramento, provides this page as a source for information about the alternative venues that are being developed or being implemented, as well as related topics and issues. The list of links is by no means complete and will be expanding continuously. Your suggestions and comments are needed and should be directed to cjohnson@csus.edu, the Faculty Senate Office. |
