Welcome to the 'I have applied' web page for Sacramento State Freshman applicants. We have compiled all the information you need as you wait for your admission decision.

Please do not send transcripts unless requested to do so. Check your 'To Do List' on My Sac State.

Your admission decision will not be available until March 1, 2010
Admissions staff will be unable to answer application status questions before that date.

Remember: Your admissions decision will be based on the academic information you provided on your application for admission.

So now what?

Here is a list of important things to take care of while your admission to Sac State is being determined:

1. Take tests

• You must take the SAT http://www.collegeboard.com/student/index.html?student or ACT www.actstudent.org no later than December 2009 and submit the test scores to Sacramento State no later than February 1, 2010.
  
  
• Placements tests:The CSU requires students to take the English Placement Test (EPT) and Entry Level Math (ELM) exam prior to enrollment, unless exempt. Log on to www.ets.org/csu  for a complete description of the EPT and ELM.
  
  
• Log onto www.csus.edu/testing to register for the EPT/ELM test at Sac State. If you wish to take the EPT/ELM at another CSU campus or obtain further information, visit: www.ets.org/csu May 1, 2010 is the last test date for students planning to attend sac State for Fall 2010.
  If you think you are exempt from the EPT, ELM or both based on your SAT, ACT, AP Exams, or EAP results send your scores to us by as soon as possible.

2. Create your SacLink account

You will receive a Sac State ID on you Application Acknowledgment letter. You will use this ID to set up your SacLink account.

SacLink is your point of entry to Sacramento State information resources and the gateway to the Internet. When you create a SacLink account, you are establishing a Global ID that is used to identify each student. SacLink was established to provide e-mail and Internet services to all students.

3.  Visit "My Sac State" often!

At "My Sac State", you can:

• View your application status beginning March 1, 2010
• Update personal information such as mailing address, email address, and phone number
• Check your financial aid status
• Enroll for classes
• View messages from Financial Aid, Admissions, and the Registrar

4. Communicating with you

We will be communicating with you through your SacLink email and My Sac State Messaging.
So check it often!

5. Take a campus tour
