Arnold Air Society has adopted as its mission three interrelated objectives which enhance AFROTC and project the United States Air Force image on the campus and in the community.
The three objectives are:
- Create a more efficient relationship among Air Force officer candidates
- Aid in the development of effective Air Force officers
- Further the purpose, traditions, and concepts of the United States Air Force
The benefits of membership to Arnold Air Society come from the three mission objectives. As a member of AAS and an Air Force officer candidate you are provided with expanded opportunities to exercise leadership, management, organizational, and public relations skills. Also members are provided opportunities to participate in campus and community service activities, demonstrating the close relationship between civilian and military institutions.
Members of Arnold Air Society are also dual enrolled in the Air Force Association. AAS works closely with the AFA by advocating the support of aerospace power. AAS strives to instill an attitude of unselfish dedication and responsibility for fulfillment of the mission of the USAF, AFROTC, and AAS.
