Air Force ROTC offers more than your
regular semester activities. Want to experience real Air
Force jobs? Travel the country or world? Jump out of
perfectly good airplanes? Learn combat skills & arms
training? These and more are called Professional
Development Training (PDT) and you can sign up for these
slots during your freshman (AS 100) and junior (AS 300)
years. Outstanding, motivated and very involved cadets get
picked to attend such training during the summer between
spring and fall semesters. If selected, you will get paid
on Air Force orders to attend training sessions across the
U.S. and even around the world! All expenses are paid for
by the Air Force while you attend these training sessions,
including travel expenses, room & board, food, and per diem.
Like stated before, on top of that you will receive a
paycheck for the time you're in training! With PDTs, the
Air Force is willing to help you experience travel and
diverse training as cadets, even before you get to Active
Duty! PDTs are some of the best experiences you'll have as
a cadet at Detachment 088 to further your character
development as future Air Force Officers. See our contact
information page of this website if you have any questions.
