Amelia Stults received her B.S. in Health Science with a concentration in Community Health Education and a minor in Social Welfare from Sacramento State in May 2011 and is pursuing a Masters in Social Work at Sacramento State (expected May 2013). Additionally, Amelia holds a Community Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. She has completed internships at Sacramento State in Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs, Sexual Health and was a founding member of Active Minds. Amelia also completed an internship at My Sister’s House (local domestic violence shelter) and Turning Point: Pathways to Success after Homelessness (community mental health). Amelia currently volunteers at the Sacramento Kaiser Hospice and in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in the California Medical Facility. Amelia is passionate about health disparities, public health and social work. |
