Evie Harris - President
This is Evie's second year at Sac State but fourth year in college. She is majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology.
Evie would like to increase membership and board members this year! She hopes SAA will help form better communication lines among alumni and students and networking connections we as students will one day need in the future. These connections will not only be with alumni but with fellow students, too! SAA has extensive and diverse resources available to their members which she hopes reaches to as many students as possible. These students are also welcomed to ask the board members of the club for assistance as well. "We're not just business, we always have fun!" Evie wants you to join SAA, "We all balance each other out; to add someone else to the board will only make us stronger!"
Melissa Mabe - VP of Events
This is Melissa's second year at Sac State but fourth year in college. Her major is Psychology with a concentration is Family Life Education.
Melissa would like to see SAA expand on campus in regards to increasing membership and gaining new board members! She hopes SAA will serve as a gateway to future networking for her as well as all its members. She wishes that within the next year that members will become more involved in events such as brainstorming, volunteering and of course, attending. Melissa wants all members to know that the board members are here specifically for them, and that if they have any questions or suggestions, we are all ears! She wants to thank YOU for all of SAA's success!
Michelle Madrigal - Student Program Coordinator
Michelle is a senior in the Communication Studies- Public Relations department. She joined SAA in September of 2011 as their program coordinator. Her favorite part of being a member is seeing all the networking connections being made at SAA events! Michelle can’t wait to come back as an alum to SAA’s annual events. She also cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Student Alumni Association.
