Alumni should join because all members share a passion for public service, promoting visibility of the alumni organization and increasing professional and personal credibility of Sac State graduates. - Hannah Stelmakhovych '10 (Government)

The University and fellow alumni helped me succeed after college and I just want to return the favor. – Eric Guerra '03 (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), MPPA '08

So many alumni are quietly doing amazing work to improve our communities and our state. This association gives us a place to come together to promote our collective contributions and give a hand up to the next generation of public servants. – Tamar Lazarus, MPPA '08

I joined HPPA to get inspired through our youth. I see the commitment of the younger generation and it thrills me to see such talent. I can't wait for the rest of our community to experience what everyone has to offer. I look, listen, and share with all of you and feel inspired! – Angelica Tellechea '10 (Spanish)

I joined because I got a lot from my education so I wanted to give back and because I wanted to increase the value of my degree. – Devin Lavelle, MPPA '11

I think students and recent grads should join because HPPA offers so many great educational and professional opportunities. From our social events to our more formal 'What's Possible' forums, there are always opportunities to meet people and learn about public policy in California. For those that have been out of school for a while it is a great way to give back to the university that helped spark your current success! – Katie Cardenas, MPPA '13
