Liam D. Murphy earned his PhD at Yale University in 2000, and has been a member of the CSUS anthropology department since 2002. His main fields of study are charismatic and evangelical religion, and culture and society in Northern Ireland and the European Union. He is co-author of A History of Anthropological Theory (2003) and co-editor of Readings for a History of Anthropological Theory (2001).
