Welcome to the website for the Anthropology Museum at Sacramento State. The Museum is a program of the Department of Anthropology. Our facilities include a small exhibition gallery (approx. 1000 sq. ft.), ethnographic research and teaching collections, a climate-controlled repository, and a lab for curatorial and exhibit-design work. The Anthropology Department offers a number of courses in Museum Anthropology, including course-credit internships designed to provide hands-on opportunities for Anthropology majors. The Museum is dedicated to serving both the campus community and the Sacramento metropolitan area. Please browse the links below to learn more about our programs.
