The APCG Women's Network is pleased to announce a mentoring program created in honor of the founder of the Women's Network, Dr. Margaret Trussell. The purpose of the program is to promote and recognize excellence in faculty mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty will be honored with a plaque describing their achievement, and each faculty honoree will be asked to name a student to receive a Travel Award to the APCG annual meeting. The Network will also promote good mentoring practices by providing information on mentoring and by hosting mentoring sessions at APCG meetings. Funding for this program is provided by the Margaret Trussell Memorial Fund. The details concerning the application process and award amounts will be in a forthcoming edition of "Pacifica".
