The newly elected President and Vice President will begin their one-year terms immediately following the Annual Meeting in Long Beach in October. The Vice President shall then run unopposed for President in 2008. The two-year Sec/Treas term also begins following the Long Beach meeting.
The three-year term for Councillor began July 1, per AAG policy.

Vice President, and to Nancy Wilkinson and Scott Mensing for agreeing to stand for AAG Regional Councillor. All are active
and highly worthy members, thereby assuring continued vitality for the Association.
Thanks also to the Nominations Committee (Alec Murphy University of Oregon; Vicky Lawson, University of Washington; and Gundars Rudzitis, University of Idaho,
UA) for their work in finding four excellent candidates.
Participation in the election set a record: 228 ballots were
cast, including 34 from AAG members in our region who are not also APCG members (they can only vote for Councillor). Thanks to all who participated.
