Overview
Evaluation tools can be used with or without SacCT for course, student, department,
and program assessment.

Online surveys (powered by Flashlight ™ Online) can be used as alternative to SacCT surveys and in combination with a SacCT course. Using online surveys at Sac State, you can create anonymous surveys using your own questions, or questions from a databank, to be delivered via the Web. Survey results can be viewed online or downloaded for further analysis and/or manipulation. |

Respondus, a third-party application from Respondus, Inc., can be used to easily create exams for SacCT, print exams, copy an existing exam from SacCT, or incorporate publisher quiz questions into a SacCT course. Because the CSU purchases a license every year for the software, it is available for Sac State faculty and staff, free of charge. |

Respondus LockDown Browser™ is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in SacCT. It prevents students from printing, copying, going to another website, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If a SacCT assessment requires that Respondus LockDown Browser be used, the assessment won't be accessible with a standard Web browser. |
