Use the Faculty Website Template to create a professional web site that your students can access to view and download course material, learn about the courses you teach and other information about you. Modifying the template is easy, simply change the existing sections with content specific to you and your user's needs. The template includes sections that faculty typically need, such as: contact information, course information, course calendars, and vitae.

After downloading the template file you will need an application capable of decompressing zipped files.

Getting Started

1. Request a Web Server Account. The Web server administrator will create a directory for your Web site.
2. You will need a Web editor application such as Dreamweaver to modify the template pages. If you do not have a Web editor, ask your IT representative for assistance.
3. Download the template and edit the template to suit your needs. See Faculty Web Handout for tips on modifying the template.
4. Upload your modified template to your Web server account.
5. Request your site be added to the Faculty Web Page Listing.
